Marketing Planning Workshop Outline

Where are you now?

What, how and to whom are you selling?  We will show you how to answer these key questions effectively to give you a solid foundation for your marketing planning.  We will also show you how to identify both yours and your competitors strengths and weaknesses, making it easier to identify where potential opportunities lie.  Doing this well also gives you a head start in developing your marketing objectives.

To develop marketing effectively you need a clear idea of where you want to be.  This is achieved through formulating specific objectives and working towards them in a structured way.  We will give you the ability to define your marketing objectives so that they run alongside those of your business.  We will also help you to identify where you need to position yourself to best meet the differing needs of your various customers.

How are you going to get there?

So how do you go about putting all your best laid plans into action?  We will show you how to develop strategies and tactics to meet the objectives you’ve set.  You’ll develop these strategies to a realistic timeline, which helps to keep your focus.  As well as this, you will learn about the various elements that will make up your marketing mix, such as promotion and pricing and how these need to be tailored to achieve your goals.  You can also expect to leave the workshop with a unique action plan, showing what steps you need to take next.

Keeping it going

But it doesn’t finish there.  We will demonstrate the importance of monitoring your activities and constantly reviewing them.  This helps you to see what has been effective, as well as what hasn’t!!  Once you know this, you can better allocate resources and so further improve what you’re offering.
